Aryna Sabalenka
Her birthplace was Minsk which is located in Belarus. Sergey Her father (who passed away in 2019) was an ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born in Minsk 5 May 1998. She holds 12 WTA titles in her career, which includes her Grand Slam of 2023 Australian Open. She is also an excellent doubles player she has two other Majors in this area, that include the US Open 2019 and the Australian Open 2021 won both with Elise Mertens. Alongside the Belgian tennis player, she also took home the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells as well as Miami in 2019 thus making her the Sunshine Double. Four women's teams were able to achieve this achievement. The Belarusian rose from second place to third in world singles rankings at the end of August on the 23rd, 2021. Her highest rank was again achieved in January of 2023. In doubles however she pushed her way to the top at the beginning of February that year after the victory in Melbourne making her the second tennis player from Belarus to make it in this particular area. Dmitry Tursunov, a former Russian tennis star, coached her during through the season of 2018 until end and part of the 2020 season. She also briefly teamed up with Dieter Kindlmann between August and September of 2020. Antonio Dubrov has been her coach since the year 2020. Her heroes are Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.
